We typically respond within two to three business days. During periods of high volume, responses may take slightly longer.

Corrections and Technical Questions

If you have found an error in our published content, whether a technical inaccuracy, an outdated gear recommendation, a route description that does not match current conditions, or anything else, please let us know. Mountain safety information in particular should be as accurate as possible, and we appreciate readers who help us maintain that standard.

Please include the specific article URL, the section where the error appears, and what the correct information should be. If you have a source for the correction, including that is helpful but not required.

Writing and Contributing

We welcome pitches and contributions from climbers with genuine field experience and something specific to say. Our contributors are climbers first and writers second or third, and we value direct knowledge of terrain, conditions, and techniques over polished prose that lacks real-world grounding.

We are especially interested in: personal accounts of significant climbs or expeditions that contain information useful to other climbers; gear reviews based on extended real-world use rather than brief handling; route descriptions and condition reports for destinations not currently covered on the Site; and technique articles that address the aspects of a skill that standard tutorials gloss over.
